The clinics offer a range of onsite, remote, and in-home services to clients receiving Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Dietetics and Allied Heath care services.Due to the exciting growth, they currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven Psychology Team Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will have the choice of working on and off-site to manage your own caseload.
You will possess strong clinical skills with the ability to follow through as well as the ability to co-manage clients with different health professionals in a dynamic team environment. As a Psychology Team Manager, you will be responsible for:Provide therapeutic sessions to referred clients using evidence-based interventionsDevelop tailored treatment plans for referred clients using prior knowledge and research skillsCollate handouts for referred clients for homework and therapeutic aidsComplete electronic client notes and reports for sessions to an appropriate standard as outlined by APS Code of Ethics/Supervisor standardsWrite letters to other health professionals and external agencies to assist the client in continual access to health and other servicesPrepare for and attend weekly clinical supervision sessions as per AHPRA guidelinesAttend professional development in accordance with AHPRA registration requirementsComply with subpoena or court appearance request on behalf of referred clientsAttend case conferences for referred clients to assist in service provisionTaking on more COMPLEX clientsSeeing a greater variety of clients of all typesGive opportunity to new grads to observeBe a buddy for Prov PsychsParticipate in MDT training and workshopsBegin to build skills in particular clinical areasProvide mentoring and supervision for physio and new grad physiosYou will also be responsible for:Recruitment for staff in the team across all sitesManagement of KPIs for all staff in the team as well as team performanceManagement of KPIs for all staff in the team as well as team performanceTaking on very complex and serious cases where seniors are unable toHiring and firing of staffResource management and budget allocation as per HEAHHow we will support you:Dedicated admin teamDedicated HR and finance team to look after all admin affairsDedicated team leaders and team manager in each departmentFully stocked clinics with resourcesAbility to have resource packs made up to travel within the communityBack-end processes in place to make daily work easierResource budget per discipline per monthDedicated internal/external supervision and mentoring as well as PDOpportunities for observation of more experienced/ specialized staff across disciplinesWhat's in it for you:Advancement of clinical knowledgeWorking with preferred caseload and client typesOngoing clinical developmentRegular mentoring and supervisionTeam specific meetings and supportIn-house PD at no cost (Over 40 PD hours per year)More benefits:Access to a work car for community and remote workPaid travel for community workPaid PD leavePD budget per calendar yearPaid staff meetings and professional development in-houseAccess for work vehicle and work-related travel coverageAccess to gym and swim facilities at our sites located inside leisure centres
