Job Title: Registered Midwife

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Midwife to join our team at Hawkesbury District Hospital. As a midwife with us, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care to patients throughout their pregnancy journey.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective nursing/midwifery care.
  • Organise and prioritise work effectively to meet the needs of patients and the team.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues through written and verbal communication.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to maintain current skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • CURRENT REGISTRATION AS A REGISTERED MIDWIFE DIVISION 1 WITH AHPRA IS REQUIRED.
  • Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in midwifery.
  • Able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Able to work a flexible roster, including day, evening, or night shifts across all days of the week.
