Fast-Paced Payroll Opportunity in a Global OrganisationStrong WFH and Flexibility PolicyAbout Our ClientOur client is a large organisation in Brisbane, renowned for their commitment to quality and innovation, they stand as a leader in their field, providing products and services across Australia.Job DescriptionProcessing end-to-end fortnightly payroll for a large workforce, inclusive of on boarding, off boarding, superannuation and tax.Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.Managing payroll queries and providing timely fixes to employees.Producing accurate payroll reports and report reconciliations as required.Maintaining up-to-date records of leave, superannuation, and tax deductions.Collaborating with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes.Assisting with audits related to payroll and internal controls.Adhering to all confidentiality and data protection procedures.Providing necessary mentoring, support and training to new employees.The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Payroll Officer should have:A tertiary qualification in Payroll or Accounting is preferred.Strong, long-term experience in end-to-end payroll processing and EOFY processes (7-10 years of experience).Proven experience in a similar payroll role within a large organisation/similar industry.Strong knowledge of payroll systems and Australian payroll legislation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong systems experience, preferably with first tier systems such as People Soft, Aurion or Chris21.
