About the Role

As a Senior Leading Hand, you will oversee pavement and drainage building works and provide site supervision, managing leading hands, subcontractor work crews and own crew as required.

You will ensure all work activities are carried out in a healthy and safe work environment and ensure key performance indicators are met including production rates, site management and quality.

  • Manage site quality assurance and conformance activities
  • Engage with TMR inspectorial counterparts including Traffic Management Centre
  • Monitor resource utilisation including materials in line with budgets and targets ensuring value for money
  • Monitor performance, efficiency and advising opportunities for improvements
  • Planning and scheduling of work to meet timelines and outputs against daily program and project and organise and plan work tasks for the site at a two week lookahead
  • Provide leadership and support to your team and guidance in delivering better network solutions and promoting whole of life cycle approach to the management of all assets
