About Us
Our client specializes in providing industrial remediation services and asset preservation solutions across various industries including infrastructure, mining, marine, defense, and commercial sectors.
They are currently looking for a Quality Officer for their Paint Blast project at their Adelaide office.

About the role:

Oversee project execution to ensure all activities align with project plans, quality procedures, and technical specifications.
Ensure strict adherence to internal quality protocols and client-specific requirements for painting, blasting, and surface preparation works.
Monitor and enforce compliance with Quality, Safety, Environmental, and Technical standards, ensuring best practices are consistently followed.
Participate in task planning, risk assessments, and conduct regular audits to maintain high-quality standards.
Perform material inspections and review technical documentation to verify compliance with project specifications.
Identify and report non-conformance issues, recommend corrective actions, and track resolution timelines to ensure timely project adjustments.

Skills and Experience:

NACE CIP Level 2 certification (mandatory).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively liaise with teams and stakeholders.
Hands-on experience in marine, infrastructure, and asset remediation projects, particularly in blasting, painting, and concrete rehabilitation (highly desirable).
In-depth technical knowledge of coatings, surface preparation techniques, hazardous material management, and application processes.
Familiarity with quality systems, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), progressive quality tracking, and QA/QC coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes.
