Information Security Consultant - Fulltime Permanent OpportunityLocation: Auckland Fulltime permanentCompetitive salary Meaningful, High-Impact WorkWe're currently recruiting for a full-time Information Security Consultant to join a well-established organisation delivering impactful, large-scale digital initiatives.
This role plays a key part in enabling secure delivery across a wide range of enterprise-level initiatives.You'll be supporting architects, project teams, and operational staff in embedding best practices, developing security roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with industry-leading security standards.

Key Responsibilities Offer expert guidance on managing information security risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.Collaborate with architects and delivery teams to ensure alignment with security policies and industry best practices.Support the creation and execution of the organisation's Information Security Strategy, Roadmap, and Control Framework.Serve as the escalation point for complex security-related incidents and change management issues.Ensure security measures are integrated into major change and transformation projects.Promote awareness and provide training around security policies and compliance requirements.Contribute to the ongoing improvement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
What We're Looking For Demonstrated experience delivering information security consultancy services within medium to large organisations.Solid knowledge of cloud security, especially within Azure, and an awareness of evolving cybersecurity technologies.Experience with tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Azure Active Directory, and SIEM solutions.Proven ability to work effectively with Solution Architects and Dev Ops teams to embed security by design.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.A practical approach to balancing security risks with real-world business needs.
