Do you have a genuine passion for boats and want to kickstart your career in the marine industry? We're looking for a full-time Shipwright Apprentice to join our hardworking team at Fullard Boat Co.

Fullard Boat Co is a family-run business established in 2018.
We've built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work, specialising in timber and fibreglass restoration and reconstruction.
Based in East Gippsland, Victoria, we service the Gippsland Lakes region, from Lakes Entrance to Paynesville.
We take pride in our work and are looking for the right person to join our team.
About You
To be a great fit for this role, you must:

Be hardworking and organised
Have a keen eye for detail
Be friendly and have good communication skills
Be able to work independently and as part of a team

What You'll Receive
You'll get hands-on, on-the-job training and ongoing mentoring while completing a Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction.
You must be committed to completing the four-year apprenticeship, which includes fortnightly trade school classes through the Australian Institute of Engineering.
Your Work May Include

Traditional and modern timber reconstruction and building
Fibreglass repairs and reconstruction
Sanding and painting to a high-quality finish
Boat washing, detailing, antifouling, and general maintenance
Completing your Certificate III coursework
Other duties as directed by your supervisors

Additional Details
Wages will be in line with award conditions and based on your experience and qualifications.
A school-based apprenticeship may also be considered for the right candidate.
