With an extensive portfolio of Retail stores, we are a team of talented and passionate retailers committed to setting a new benchmark in retail.The role:Reporting to our HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading employment relations processes, compliance, and projects to ensure appropriate outcomes, resolution, and industry best practice.Your key responsibilities will include:Supporting HR strategies that drive high performance business results.Overseeing all ER cases end to end, ensuring high quality documentation and record keeping.Partnering with HR Business Partners to coach and advise leaders on performance management processes, ensuring best practice tools, resources, and support are available to leaders across the organisation.Conducting workplace investigations, disciplinary processes, and outcomes ensuring Australia and New Zealand guidelines are met and employee experience is upheld.Providing expert advice and coaching on performance management, investigations, grievances, and industrial relations matters.Supporting the HR team with policy development, change management, and training initiatives.Representing the business on external mediation processes with Fair Work and Employment Relations Authority NZ.Supporting HR projects aimed at improving processes to enhance employee experience and drive organisational effectiveness.Supporting HR & Payroll Compliance processes to ensure policies, procedures, contracts, and payroll are in accordance with industry awards and standards.Overseeing grievance & ER reporting, identifying trends, and providing insights to key stakeholders.Assisting all facets of the business in undertaking and implementing HR processes including performance appraisals, disciplinary processes, training & development activities, policies, and processes.Facilitating and guiding leaders through the corrective action process and termination processes, ensuring guidance in line with State, Federal legislation, and Fair Work/Modern Award.Contributing to HR and employee experience projects and initiatives proactively.The successful HR Advisor will have the following:3+ years HR Generalist experience across AUS/NZ practices.Experience with the retail industry is preferred.Proven and demonstrated experience working with an employment relations focused HR role.Previous experience working within a growth organisation would be advantageous.Strong understanding and experience working with Modern Awards, policy development, and compliance.Experience in New Zealand employment practices would be advantageous.A strong understanding of Human Resource activities across the employee life cycle including legal compliance and associated HR legislative requirements.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.What's in it for you?You will be a part of an inclusive team with a strong customer and stores focus, exciting career opportunities, and receive excellent employee benefitsFlexible Part Time employment - 4 days per week.WFH/WFO hybrid working model - 1 day work from home preferably on Thursdays, aligned to the HR team.Birthday leave - a paid day off to celebrate your special day.Recognition of performance and contribution with Monthly MVP awards - access to MVP vouchers to purchase store productsOngoing Training & Development to support your growth in the business and your career.Opportunity to attend RPG's Annual Conference for Store Managers and our Support team.An opportunity to work with a team and business that has very well-defined Purpose, Blueprint, and Values.Access to THRIVE our Workplace Wellbeing and Mental Health program, including a range of holistic wellbeing and EAP support services.Paid Bonuses for referring Top Talent to the RPG business.You will be a part of a hardworking team with a vibrant culture, exciting career opportunities, and excellent employee benefitsDue to the fast-paced nature of our business, the vacancy close date may be subject to change.
