The Position
Award's escalating market prestige and profile has resulted in rapid growth so we are seeking a highly self-motivated professional to join our Production Team.
The position is based at our Manufacturing plant on the Central Coast.
This role will include the assembly of high value and high quality steel windows and doors.
The role is to turn the Client's design intent into a manufacturable solution
Your primary accountabilities include :

responsibility for the preparation detail shop drawings meeting the job quote and the design intent of the project,
responsibility for amending shop drawings to meet the specific requirements of the site following the site measure and inspection
support to the sales team in the preparation of budgets and quotes by preparing sketches and other related documents,
support to the manufacturing processes by producing manufacturing drawings.

The Skill Sets and Key Requirements

minimum 3 years' experience in drafting in the building/architecture field
Auto Cad experience and competency at a high level
managing and measuring
attention to detail
drive for quality and accurate results and productivity
lateral thinking and problem solving
propensity to learn
own transport

Hourly rates will depend on relevant experience.
