  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Aged Care Worker to join our team at Uniting Mingaletta in Port Macquarie, New South Wales.

About Us:

Uniting Mingaletta is a welcoming living environment located in the picturesque town of Port Macquarie. Our facility is designed using the household model of care, which fosters a warm and family-like atmosphere where every resident feels at home.

We have single rooms, and our facility is currently undergoing a refurbishment to ensure our facilities are modernized.

Job Summary

You will provide care, companionship, and emotional support to residents living in our aged care home, helping to support their independence and improve their quality of life.

  • You will assist with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, mealtime assistance, and mobility support.
  • You will assist with medication management and simple wound dressings.
  • You will support residents in community-based recreational and social activities.

Requirements
  • Ideal qualifications include Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in aged care if you're studying or have recently become qualified.
