Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our Operations Department as an Operations Coordinator.

This role involves liaising with customers and employees to ensure the smooth running of daily operations, including scheduling branch removal activities, briefing drivers & crews, and controlling documentation.

The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills, ability to work as part of a team and autonomously, and demonstrated leadership and delegation skills.

Removals management experience is highly desirable but not essential. Online rail booking and tracking experience is also highly desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule branch removal activities and communicate with all parties
  • Brief and debrief drivers & crews on removal requirements
  • Ensure daily run sheets are completed and distributed
  • Control all documentation through the Operations department
  • Freight control and container stock management
  • Ensure maximum client satisfaction and day-to-day problem solving
  • Prepare relevant Operations and Customer Service reports
  • Reconcile manifests in/out of Gold Coast
  • Direct and oversee Depot functions in conjunction with other Operational staff
  • Warehouse stock control
  • Recruit removals staff as required
  • Ensure client removal processes are met on all jobs

Requirements:

  • Highly organised individual with excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
  • Demonstrated leadership and delegation skills
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Removals management experience highly desirable
  • Online rail booking and tracking experience highly desirable
