We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef to become a part of our lively and welcoming catering team

About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for food preparation for patients, staff, and functions.
Your key duties will include, but are not limited to:

Cold Larder Preparation and handling of food
Preparation & Cooking of meals
Understanding of patient dietary requirements
Ensuring a clean environment is maintained
Daily completion of food and safety log sheets and compliance with food safety & HACCP
Ordering of food & supplies and stock rotation.

Your Skills and Experience

Certificate in Commercial Cooking
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef
Ability to cater to a wide variety of sensitive dietary requirements
Must have a thorough understanding of allergy management practices
Excellent work ethic, customer service skills, time management skills
Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse workplace
Previous healthcare setting experience will be highly regarded although not essential.

Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $32.22 - $33.80 + superannuation, based on relevant experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
(QLD Support Services Level 3 Yr1-4).

Requirements

Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
