Our Mission is to promote the dignity, life and spirituality of older people through connected and inclusive communities.Our Property Services team has 2 new opportunities for highly experienced Property Services Managers to drive exciting changes that will improve the effectiveness and service levels of our property maintenance across our Residential Aged Care Homes located across Sydney Metro, Regional NSW and Southeast QLD.Reporting to the Senior Manager Property Services, you will support a dedicated portfolio of 20 homes to coordinate in-house property and facility services ensuring effective functionality of buildings and facility equipment.
With 4 direct and approximately 30 indirect reports, you will apply your people leadership and change management skills as we transition to an in-house service model and implement new maintenance technology whilst maintaining the highest standard of day-to-day facility and capital works management.Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively navigate and implement change whilst developing trusted relationships with your team and stakeholders alike, will be crucial to your success.Your role will include the following:Managing, delivering and updating property maintenance, asset replacement and property management plansManaging the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of essential building systemsDeveloping budgets for building services and minor capital works/upgradesDeveloping and implementing emergency response plansUndertaking condition reporting, risk assessments and audits to ensure safety standardsAdhering to relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and policies when developing and implementing preventative and reactive maintenance schedulesCoordinating with contractors, suppliers, and service providers for major repairs, asset replacement, maintenance, and installationsProviding leadership and support to Property Services Team Leaders and maintenance crewAs our ideal candidate, you will have a high level of emotional intelligence coupled with a positive hands-on approach and the ability to achieve desired outcomes.Additionally, you will have:Extensive experience in Facilities Management with recent experience in the Aged Care sectorExperience in developing and implementing maintenance and asset lifecycle plansDemonstrated people leadership and change management experienceCurrent NSW Drivers Licence with the ability to travel to sites across NSW and QLD when requiredBe a team player to support the wider property team, colleagues and peersMicrosoft suite experience including Teams, Outlook and ExcelWillingness to obtain a Police CheckBenefits Catholic Healthcare employees receive:Additional leave days, salary packaging, fitness benefits, paid parental and family leave, and long service leave after five years.Catholic Healthcare is a values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds.Apply your interest online nowCatholic Healthcare acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and dream.
