We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and committed Fitter & Turner.
You will play a key role in supporting the Manufacturing team by delivering exceptional quality service.
You will be part of a team dedicated to driving business performance and future growth and be part of a business that is experiencing exciting change while working with an expanding multi-national company.

Your day will involve:

Provide input to Facility Manager to ensure WH&S systems and procedures are in place
Support our WH&S records, ensuring inspections are complete, up to date, and available
Provide input to Facility Manager, Departmental Team Leaders to ensure Quality Assurance systems and procedures are operating effectively and efficiently
Ensure Maintenance systems and procedures relating to routine preventative maintenance and breakdown response are adhered to
Routine Preventative Maintenance Schedule is in place and completed in accordance with agreed time frames and standards.
Breakdowns impacting production are responded to and resolved quickly and efficiently.
Support the production team through providing maintained equipment to avoid and Disruptions or unplanned downtime
Environmental standards continually met.
Perform activities and tasks as per the instructions on Work Orders allocated to you.
Work in conjunction with external service providers and contractors as directed
Effectively record and report on critical spares and inventories and liaise with suppliers to ensure the critical spares are on hand
Ensure work carried out by external service providers that is supervised by you is in line with legislative requirements and to company standards

About you:

Minimum of a mechanical trade qualification with demonstrated practical hands on experience
WH&S aware and compliant
Computer literate
Welding skills
Machine breakdown experience
Hose repair experience
