Bidfood Sunshine Coast is looking for a forward-thinking and organised individual to join our team as a Purchasing Officer at our Kunda Park branch.
This role suits someone who is solution-oriented, enjoys variety in their day-to-day work, thrives in a collaborative environment and communicates clearly.

This role is about more than just managing stock; it's about supporting hospitality and foodservice businesses, ensuring continuity of supply to national customers and playing a key part in the smooth operation of essential services.
Your work will help ensure chefs, cafés and venues have what they need – when they need it.
About the role
On a day-to-day basis, you'll manage stock levels and place orders to keep inventory flowing.
You'll also work closely with sales reps to source new products and introduce new suppliers to our customers.

Monitor inventory and generate reports
Process purchase orders and stock transfers
Apply supplier deals and promotional pricing
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams
Maintain accurate product and pricing data
Support admin tasks and branch operations
Represent Bidfood with a professional, solutions-focused approach

About you
While previous purchasing experience is preferred, we're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable working with numbers and systems.
You're a clear communicator who enjoys being part of a team, can juggle multiple tasks, and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through.
Experience in a stock-focused or fast-paced environment will be highly regarded.
