Working with Central Australian Aboriginal Congress not only offers rewarding career options but a wide range of employee benefits including;Competitive salariesSix (6) weeks' annual leave (per annum)Generous salary packagingA strong commitment to Professional DevelopmentAccess to the Congress health services for you and your immediate family at no costDistrict allowance and Remote BenefitsAbout the roleCongress is expanding and is looking for a skilled Workforce Partner (HR Adviser) to join our Human Resources team in Alice Springs.Reporting to the Senior Workforce Manager, the Workforce Partner (HR Adviser) is responsible for working collaboratively with a specified customer group to deliver guidance and support across a wide range of human resources matters, coaching, mentoring, and supporting managers with contemporary people management practices.This is a great opportunity to join Congress Human Resources, gain Employee Relations experience, and work in a supportive team towards building our workforce.ResponsibilitiesYour duties will include:Provide advice and coaching to managers and employees on HR policies and practicesContribute to the development of HR strategies, HR policies, and implementation of HR projectsUndertake case management to support managers and employees on ER matters including workplace investigations, grievance resolution, performance management, and disciplinary processesIn collaboration with the Recruitment team, support managers in workforce planningEducate, coach, and advise managers to support them with their management responsibilitiesAssist the Manager Employee Relations with weekly and monthly reportingQualifications:Diploma level qualification in human resources management or a relevant field or extensive practical experience.
AHRI certified HR practitioner desirable.Experience:Minimum of two (2) years' experience in dealing with employee relations matters.
Experience providing coaching and advice related to human resources.
Case management experience of employee or industrial relation matters.
Demonstrated ability to handle conflict resolution.
