About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our frontline team ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft operations. Your role will involve handling critical tasks such as bagroom operations, loading and unloading, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring precise receipting and dispatching of aircraft.
Your Key Responsibilities- Perform bagroom functions, including scanning and manual handling of luggage.
- Load and unload baggage and freight efficiently.
- Manage aircraft receipt and dispatch procedures.
- Execute aircraft pushback operations safely.
- Provide essential water and waste services.
- Operate ground service equipment on the ramp.
We offer competitive pay rates above the Award, along with benefits such as:
- Competitive hourly base rate of $25.40 (exclusive of shift penalties and superannuation).
- 11.5% Superannuation contributions.
- Shift penalties for early morning, evening, and overnight shifts.
- Additional pay for weekend work (time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays).
- Company-provided uniform.
- Comprehensive paid training and enrolment in a Cert III course.
- Fatigue management strategies.
- Rosters published two weeks in advance, offering flexibility for work/life balance.

We seek individuals who demonstrate:

- Punctuality and Reliability: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to fulfilling shift responsibilities.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and conditions in a dynamic airport environment.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
- A valid Driver's License (including Provisional License).
- Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
- Capability of obtaining an ASIC card (cost reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays.
- Capacity to undertake shifts between 4-10 hours per day.
- Ability to work shifts spanning 04:30 - 00:00.
- Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight.
- Available for a 1-week full-time paid training.
