With extraordinary dining options, including Sokyo, BLACK Bar and Grill, Cucina Porto and our vibrant Sports Bar where the action is live and loud, we are dedicated to delivering the ultimate entertainment, hospitality, and dining experiences for all.As a Housekeeping Services Supervisor, reporting to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency are achieved and maintained within the department through effective supervision, training, and team member engagement of this large and diverse teamThis is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with both our guests and The Star Grand hotel team.A few of your responsibilities:Ensure all relevant guest information is shared with all Team Members - VIPs, Cots, Rollaway bedsSupport and assist the team during peak periodsPerform room spot checks and ensure all rooms are checked to hotel standardsResolve guest concerns using a pleasant and diplomatic approachMonitor and report maintenance requests where requiredWhat we are looking for:Previous Supervisory experience within a hotelStrong leadership skills with an exceptional eye for detailPassion for hospitality with a can-do attitudeStrong communication skills and computer literacyFlexible availability to work across a 7-day rosterAbout you:You will be experienced in a supervisory housekeeping role within a hotel or integrated resort.
In addition, you will have experience of improving operational efficiency, elevating guest experiences, and maintaining the highest of room presentation.You will bring a collaborative and welcoming mindset, thrive in a team environment and have a demonstrated understanding of relevant industry regulatory requirements with experience embedding these requirements as part of your ways of working.Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of The Star Grand hotel operations.
