Your Best Life Independent Living is a registered NDIS provider offering innovative living and lifestyle solutions to people with disabilities in the Gympie, Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Brisbane regions.

We support people by simplifying and providing disability and health services so they can live their best lives.

About this opportunity
We seek ideal male and female support workers for high-intensity support.
Shift times span from 6am to 10pm, with either Sleepovers and/or Active Nights.
Flexibility is a requirement of this role.

Permanent Part Time staff requirements:
Must have great availability, flexibility and ready to get started
Must have experience working with participants with complex medical, physical disability, and must be reliable and consistent for the client's benefit.
Experience working in SIL team environments would be highly sought after.
The successful applicants will be reimbursed from the SCHADS award – Social and Community Services Employee Full and Part Time between Level 2 – pay point 1 and Level 3 – pay point 1, depending on experience and qualifications.

Casual staff requirements:
Must have great availability and flexibility to take on shifts as needed.

Essential Requirements:

Experience working, or lived experience, within the disability field
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Current Blue and Yellow Card
Current Police Check
A Queensland driver's licence
NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate
A registered and insured vehicle
COVID 19 Vaccination

Highly desirable attributes and skills:

Cert III in Individual Support
Cert IV in Disability Support
Cert III or IV in Mental Health
Nursing experience (Enrolled Nurses)
Therapy experience (Allied Health Assistant)
