Reporting to the Executive Director of Infrastructure Services, you will provide strategic planning and project oversight across asset management within our organisation.Your primary responsibility is to provide governance and lead the delivery of development projects and capital works.

Role & Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership, oversight, and end-to-end accountability for managing all developments and projects to serve the mission and sustainability of Newcastle Anglican.
Devise, negotiate, execute, and implement innovative capital management, shared infrastructure, and other development structures to achieve the optimum customer and commercial outcomes for Newcastle Anglican.
Support the Strategic Asset Management program by contributing commercial, risk analysis, and financial guidance to optimise the use of capital assets, managing and reporting on key risks across the project portfolio.
Provide Project Delivery advice and guidance ensuring all development and capital projects are in line with key project measures and exit strategies for decommissioned assets managed effectively.
Prepare and manage an annual project plan to identify project pipeline, plan out approvals process, resources, and funding, for review and approval by the Executive Director Infrastructure.
Manage the preparation of all tender packages and construction contracts, including the tender, vetting, negotiation, letting, and ongoing oversight of the appointment of all contractors and consultants, to minimise delivery risk to Newcastle Anglican, while ensuring Newcastle Anglican's customer outcomes are achieved.
Establish effective working relationships with key leaders and senior managers that result in Project Delivery practices being delivered to a professional standard.
About you? Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or similar Current driver's license A current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain A current NDIS Workers Clearance or willingness to obtain Substantial experience as a Project Director of property development and construction projects, with a minimum value of $20 M Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar role Demonstrated comprehensive high-level knowledge of the Health and Aged Care industries is preferable Comprehensive experience in coordinating a flexible, multi-skilled team environment with advanced interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills Who we are?
