This is an outstanding opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our highly motivated and energetic workplace & employment team.
Our workplace & employment team is a collaborative, hardworking and fun team that is looking for a senior lawyer to join them.
This role provides the opportunity to experience and be involved in complex and diverse matters in all Australia jurisdictions.
You will be involved in the day-to-day delivery of high-quality legal services.
All whilst being supported and encouraged by knowledgeable and professional colleagues, who are nationally recognised leaders in this area of law, and who care about your growth and development as a lawyer.
About You With an expanding practice, the Workplace team is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and highly organised Associate or Senior Associate to assist with a range of work including: Employment lawadvice including compliance with obligations under Federal law, employment strategies, executive and general employment agreements, employment policies and procedures, discipline including termination of employment.
Employment claimsincluding response to FWO investigations, defence of unfair dismissal applications, general protection applications and post-employment workers compensation claims.
Post-Employmentadvice including enforcement of post-employment obligations such as restraints of employment and protection of confidential information.
Safetyincluding contractor agreements, policies and practices, managing workplace incidents (including fatalities), response to Safe Work SA investigations and defence of prosecutions under safety laws.
Workerscompensationadvice on behalf of employers with respect to their obligations arising under the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA).
