SSTOM Project (Bradfield / Bringelly) SSTOM Project (Bradfield / Bringelly)About Us: The Parklife Metro consortium , in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering one of Western Sydney's most transformative infrastructure projects as part of the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport line .Our consortium—featuring Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild —is delivering this once-in-a-generation project under the Stations, Systems, Trains, Operations and Maintenance (SSTOM) package .
This includes six new stations, a stabling and maintenance facility, rail systems, and a fleet of driverless trains.The OpportunityEmployed under Webuild , we are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Fit Out to join our dynamic delivery team, working across Bradfield Station .In this pivotal role, you will oversee the fit out works across station buildings, including architectural finishes, mechanical, electrical, fire, communications, and other integrated systems.
This is a hands-on delivery role with responsibility for managing subcontractors, safety, quality, and program to ensure successful project outcomes.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer ready to take the next step and contribute to one of Australia's most innovative transport projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of station fit out works, including building services, finishes, façade interfaces, and architectural elements.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Manage construction programs, look-ahead schedules, and ensure alignment with project milestones.
Prepare and review technical documentation including work packs, ITPs, RFIs, NCRs, and subcontractor deliverables.
Monitor site progress and lead reporting to project management on productivity, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Drive compliance with quality assurance, environmental, and health & safety standards.
Liaise with designers, consultants, and the client team to resolve design and construction issues in a collaborative manner.
Mentor and support junior engineers to build a high-performing project delivery team.
About You:Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in a senior engineer or project engineer role delivering fit out, services, or architectural packages on large-scale infrastructure, transport, or building projects.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
High-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, relevant Australian standards, and safety regulations.
Commitment to delivering quality outcomes with a focus on safety and sustainability.
