The Opportunity We are looking to recruit a talented Manager or Senior Manager to join our Tax Services division.
You will be part of a high performing, collaborative, knowledgeable and committed team of taxation experts who are committed to delivering exceptional service our clients.
Your clients will include privately owned groups, growing start up's multinational corporates, and ASX listed corporates.
You will be responsible for: Provide complex transactional tax advice to a diverse range of clients within a range of industry sectors operating both domestically and internationally.
Assist with ATO controversy matters for complex tax issues.
Managing the successful delivery or tax projects, ensuring tax technical excellence and a practical/commercially driven approach; Considers all relevant facts, developing a range of alternatives or solutions, making recommendations accordingly.
Professionally and commercially scopes engagements and resources as appropriate.
Staying current with developments in taxation law and mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
Liaise directly with clients to ensure delivery of accurate and high-quality work that meets expectations.
About You Minimum 5 years experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate complex tax concepts succinctly and clearly to clients verbally and in writing.
Highly developed research and analytical skills Specialist taxation expertise, with an ability to demonstrate the application of your strong technical knowledge to commercial transactions Prior experience in tax strategy implementation, planning support and project management will be advantageous.
Highly developed interpersonal skills Proven managerial experience in a tax advisory role.
Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Relevant tertiary degree and a post-graduate qualification (CA, CTA or Masters of Tax preferred).
