This is a career-defining opportunity for a commercially-minded lawyer to work closely with senior professionals across a diverse client base, with the ability to handle matters autonomously and contribute to mentoring junior staff.
The Opportunity This role offers exposure to a wide range of matters, including commercial contracts, leasing, corporate structuring, property transactions, business sales, body corporate issues, and estate planning.
You will support senior lawyers on complex matters and be trusted to manage files independently with direct client engagement.
Key Responsibilities Drafting and advising on commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and loan arrangements Advising on commercial leasing, franchising, land transactions, and business sales Assisting clients with structuring advice, trusts, estate planning, and administration Providing strategic legal advice tailored to clients' commercial goals Mentoring junior staff and contributing to the professional development of the team About You 3+ years' post-admission experience in commercial law Strong understanding of trust law, commercial lending, and corporate structuring Demonstrated experience managing matters end-to-end High-level drafting and advisory skills with strong commercial acumen Experience or exposure to property law and PEXA (desirable) Why Join Competitive salary and genuine work-life balance Hands-on mentorship and a clear pathway for career progression A supportive team environment with direct Partner access Opportunity to help shape the growth and direction of the practice This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Associate to deepen their commercial and property law expertise within a collegiate and forward-thinking team.
