This role involves leading accredited health, safety, environmental, or quality audits for ERM CVS services, covering certification and verification services.
The primary location will be near your residence, with main work in the EMEA, NA, and APAC regions, and may require global travel.
Key sectors include Oil and Gas, Mining and Minerals, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Technology, and Data Centres.
Main Responsibilities: Lead assessments according to ERM CVS procedures, prepare reports, and determine assessment conclusions.
Support and develop future lead assessors.
Contribute to the development of ERM CVS core competencies and processes, including sharing knowledge and experience.
Assist in business growth by identifying and developing sales opportunities with ERM CVS Partners.
Key Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Knowledge: Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent health, safety, environmental, or quality professional education.
Understanding of management systems and standards like ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, ISO9001.
Knowledge of ISO17021 and ISO17029.
Training to recognized international standards for ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO50001, or ISO9001; IRMA, ASI, or Copper Mark certifications are advantageous.
Familiarity with data reporting processes, UK/EU ETS, SEMS requirements is a plus.
Knowledge of EHS regulations across sectors such as oil and gas, energy, manufacturing, mining, pharmaceuticals, or technology.
Offshore training for North Sea or Gulf of Mexico work is beneficial.
Skills: Strong organizational skills with a track record of delivering audits on time.
Excellent communication skills to build trust across organizational levels and cultures.
Confident and effective presentation skills.
Ability to identify risks and opportunities, and produce clear reports.
Coaching abilities in audit delivery.
Fluent in English, with additional languages (Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese) considered an advantage.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience, including: Operational, development, or assessment of management systems for delivering services/products and reporting EHS performance.
Sector experience in one or more of the following: Oil and Gas (ETS, SEMS, supply chain auditing), Mining and Minerals (IRMA, ASI, Copper Mark, open pit and underground), Data Centres (energy use, EHS systems), Manufacturing (transportation, machinery, household goods).
