We are in pursuit of a sharp, energetic and commercial finance leader to join our high-impact team as Manager – Commercial & FP&A.
This is more than a reporting role – it's a seat at the table, helping drive business performance, influence strategic direction, and embed a culture of insights-led decision making.
What does your role look like?Role While working out of the best waterfront office in Hobart, you will help shape the future of Tassal and build on business performance as part of the Finance team.
You'll play a central role in: Building and uplifting FP&A capability across the group Leading the month-end reporting and forecasting process, including consolidation and commentary Partnering with senior leaders to challenge, support and shape decisions Translating complex financials into meaningful insights that drive results Leading budgeting, scenario modelling, business case development and investment analysis Supporting strategic projects, transformation initiatives and performance improvement efforts Leading centralised business casing for Capex and New Product Development Drive and influence process improvement not only for your area but across finance Play a critical role in systems development and rollout over time Are you CPA or CA qualified with 8+ years of experience in commercial finance or FP&A, ideally in FMCG or agribusiness? If so, and you have advanced skills in using FP&A tools beyond excel; prioritisation and project management; and love building, improving and lifting others; this just may be the position that will catapult you from being 'one of the team' to 'a leader of change and impact'.
