We're fast-moving and engaged - it is a great opportunity to join us and tackle a rewarding, high impact problem for a large market About the role We're currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team.
Some of your responsibilities will include: Architecting & building new features and systems using React, Next.js, Graph QL, Type Script, Ruby on Rails, & Sorbet Working with the CTO and Head of Product to scope/prioritise/deliver product features, APIs, web apps, and product roadmap Develop & support AI capabilities in the platform including RAG, vector databases, & prompt engineering Contributing to and influencing the ongoing design and architecture of our core platforms and services Sharing and learning best practices, patterns, and new technologies You are able to communicate clearly and thoughtfully to all levels, including to non-technical collaborators & customers You have a product mindset and are familiar with Lean and MVP product practices You are able to make pragmatic decisions in the context of an early stage start up that needs to prioritise delivery, experimentation, and adaptability over perfection You can drive a whole feature from conception to implementation and delivery You have several years of experience building the frontend and backend of web products in technologies like React, Next.js, Type Script, Rails, Node, Postgre SQL, and AWSYou have a solid understanding of how to write testable, maintainable code and automate your tests wherever possible that lead to stable code with minimal bugs You can provide and receive constructive, actionable feedback that leads to better solutions and outcomes About Pacflow The Engineering team at Pacflow was formed in 2021 and spun out of parent company Grounded Packaging.
It has built three products that are currently serving the packaging industry plus an exciting road map - products include: Blueprint - a web-based 3 D packaging design & visualizer tool (check it out at https://platform.groundedpackaging.co/blueprint)Scope - a packaging assessment tool that allows our customers to compare various sustainable packaging materials based on data (carbon footprint, material usage, fossil fuels, +more) to allow them to make the largest positive impact on the environment when choosing sustainable packaging A packaging procurement platform that allows packaging businesses to manage custom packaging deals from concept to sale to production to delivery At Pacflow We're office-first because we value collaboration, contribution & being together - and we believe that's key to success.
