About the facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong's CBD, the Mc Kellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region.
Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About the role Anexciting opportunity to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Paediatric Nursing, in affiliation with Melbourne University.
The successful applicants will have experience in either an acute medical, surgical or paediatric area, excellent communication skills and a motivation to continued professional development.
Successful applicants will be supported with our well-established structured program.
Graduates will develop the advanced clinical skills and knowledge required to care for paediatric patients within our Paediatric Unit on Heath Wing Level 3.
In this role, you will work as an active part of a health care team that shows leadership and embraces change in the coordination and delivery of care to paediatric patients.
Multiple temporary positions of 64 hours per fortnight are available with offers on ongoing employment following the successful completion of the Graduate Certificate.
The Program· 12 months: 64 hrs per fortnight, temporary part time (commencing January 2026 )· In Collaboration with Melbourne University· Competencies and hurdles assessed onsite by Clinical Educator.
