We are seeking a dedicated Solicitor in Care & Protection/Family Law to provide culturally safe legal support to First Nations communities.
Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality legal advice and representation in Care & Protection/Family Law matters.
Provide culturally safe support, including referrals, dispute resolution, and Duty Solicitor services.
Ensure compliance with ALS policies, manage administrative tasks, and maintain accurate records.
Contribute to law reform, policy development, and community legal education.
Engage in outreach clinics and professional development activities.
Candidate Profile Legal qualifications with an NSW Practising Certificate or eligibility.
Experience in advocacy and representing clients in court or tribunals.
Knowledge of Care & Protection and Family Law, with a willingness to expand expertise.
Understanding of the legal issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Strong time management, research, and analytical skills.
