AZZO is seeking a dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define and drive the company's technology strategy and execution.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in embedded software, power systems, and cloud operations within the distributed energy sector.
This forward-thinking leader will be responsible for integrating these technologies to deliver innovative, scalable, and reliable solutions that address market demands and exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities: Technology Strategy and Vision Develop and articulate AZZO's long-term technology roadmap to support business objectives.
Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on AZZO's products and services.
Product Development and Innovation Oversee the design, development, and deployment of proprietary energy software solutions and battery energy storage systems.
Ensure product development aligns with market demands, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.
Drive innovation to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability of AZZO's technology portfolio.
Integrated Energy and Power Systems Solutions Drive the convergence of power systems and cloud technologies to create integrated solutions for real-time energy management.
Develop power system solutions combining grid integration for grid, off-grid, and grid-forming applications with advanced control systems and intelligent monitoring tools.
Enhance grid stability, load management, and energy efficiency by leveraging predictive analytics and AI-driven insights within scalable and secure cloud environments.
Leadership and Team Development Build and lead a high-performing engineering and technology team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within the technical teams.
Mentor and support team members to achieve professional growth and organisational objectives.
Operational Excellence Optimise development processes and tools to enhance productivity and product delivery.
Manage risk and implement robust cybersecurity measures across all technology systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to align technology strategies with overall business goals.
Engage with external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers, to promote AZZO's technological capabilities.
Represent AZZO at industry events and conferences as a thought leader in energy technology.
Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably within the energy or software sectors.
Proven track record of delivering innovative and commercially successful technology solutions.
Expertise in energy software development, power systems, and renewable energy technologies.
Strong knowledge of market trends, regulatory frameworks, and technological advancements in the energy sector.
Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in software development methodologies, cloud technologies, and power systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
