They have regional office locations across NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and the ACT and offer good flexibility with a mix of at home and in office.The Opportunity This is a newly created role responsible for leading enterprise change management initiatives across the organisation, starting with corporate change.
Upcoming projects include an office relocation and a new project management system procurement and rollout.You will work with key stakeholders to build a change management function and mature how the organisation manages end-to-end projects.This is a 12-month labour hire contract position with a 6-month extension.This is an opportunity to:Make your mark on a small federal government agency by uplifting capability across business areas Take the lead on large-scale change initiatives that affect the whole organisation Influence and inform senior decision-making processes through clear reporting and evidence-based advice Join an organisation with a real connection to regional and rural Australia The Role Working within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and improving the organisation's portfolio change management function and enterprise change management capabilities.Your key responsibilities:Develop and maintain change management tools and support for portfolios, programs and projects Create and manage a database to track change impacts, working with stakeholders to gather, validate and present data to executives Position the e PMO as trusted advisors and build strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders Work with Communications, HR and Risk teams to provide tailored, holistic change management advice Help transition changes into business-as-usual, using data to track progress and benefits The Ideal Person To be successful in this role, you will have significant experience in Enterprise and Corporate Change Management in a federal government environment.
You'll also come from a background working in a PMO or an e PMO.
This role is not suitable to candidates that come only from ICT change management backgrounds.Your key competencies:Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a focus on consultation and collaboration Highly developed facilitation and negotiation skills The ability to work with ambiguity and agility, especially when navigating complex organisational and people related scenarios Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing briefing, planning, reporting and response documents Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines To be eligible for this role, you will:Be an Australian citizen Be willing to undergo a National Police Check Already have a Baseline Security Clearance Salary / Rate $80/hr - $120/hr + 12% Super 12-month labour hire contract + 6-month extension Office locations: Canberra, Adelaide, Goondiwindi, Griffith, Mildura, Murray Bridge, Albury Mix of work from home and in office available How to Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link.Alternatively, for a confidential discussion, please contact Liz Strachan on 02 6108 4878 quoting ref no.
