They are looking to hire a projects or construction lawyer at the 5+ PQE level, to be based in their Perth office.
We're seeking a proactive and motivated lawyer to support a dynamic and growing legal team.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of transactional and regulated legal matters in a company that is assisting with the energy transition.
The General Counsel is a leader in the space and is brilliant to deal with.

About the Role Support and lead the negotiation, drafting and review of a broad variety of commercial contracts and legal agreements.
Provide legal support across projects, operations and corporate matters, including managing risks, resolving disputes and advising on strategic initiatives.
Deliver concise and practical legal advice to a range of internal stakeholders.
Assist with governance obligations, including preparation of Board materials and supporting company secretarial functions.
Ensure legal compliance across a range of areas, including corporate, regulatory and operational matters.
Collaborate with external counsel and contribute to legal process improvements and strategic business goals.
What type of person will be successful? Admitted as a lawyer in Australia.
Practising as a lawyer for 5+ years in private practice or in-house, ideally with experience in the energy, resources, infrastructure or projects sectors.
Skilled in reviewing and drafting complex commercial contracts and providing clear, business-focused legal advice.
Collaborative, adaptable and self-motivated with excellent communication and analytical skills.
Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively across multiple business areas.
Understands corporate governance obligations under the Corporations Act.
