With it comes the responsibility and opportunity to have a significant impact on the performance, safety and culture of the operation.Location: Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)Roster: 8 days on; 6 days offDepartment: Technical and TechnologyManager: Senior Engineer - Mid Term PlanningEmployment Type: Permanent, Full Time In This Role You Will: Provide shutoff analysis and scenario work as well as footprint finder and owning the plan for the SLC in the Assist with the delivery of the quarterly mine plans at Carrapateena through close engagement with our wider Mining Technical & Technology team, Operations teams and our numerous mining contract partners.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive a quality mine plan.Support mine planning trade-off studies for opportunity enhancement and threat mitigation.Complete management of change documentation.As Carrapateena enters a new phase of production ramp-up and operational readiness for the block cave, you will also be involved in the detailed mine planning of mass excavations, block cave footprint and associated infrastructure.
About You: A commitment to developing safety leadership.Experience in underground mining in either practical underground experience, mine scheduling, production, design, mine projects or equivalent.Experience in cave flow or scheduling is highly regarded.Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering.Ability to interact successfully with multiple internal stakeholders.Ability to work to multiple deadlines.Deswik.
CAD experience is an advantage.
