Role Responsibilities As the first dedicated Security hire, you will own security initiatives, working independently without a team of seniors.
Collaborate with IT Ops, Cloud Engineering, Security, and Dev Ops teams, taking proactive ownership of security tasks.
Enhance security posture through tool selection, implementation, monitoring, compliance, and internal advocacy—covering the full spectrum from SIEM alerts to automation and project collaboration.

Ideal Candidate Profile3–5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, with prior Sec Ops background essential.
Experience as a Sys Admin or similar role, understanding systems and infrastructure from the ground up.
Familiarity with modern security tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls.
Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn and explore new technologies.
Pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
Australian PR or citizen required; sponsorship not available.
