The Role : This is more than just a numbers role.
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for operational data, performance insights, and system integrity across some of our platforms.
You'll work closely with stakeholders across operations, sales, marketing, and finance to deliver actionable insights, support strategic projects, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
From inventory accuracy to procurement support and cost-to-serve analysis, your work will directly influence business decisions and customer outcomes.
This is a parental leave cover role that will commence in August / September 2025 and run for 12 months.
Your Day : Develop and maintain reports and KPIs to monitor supply chain and operational performance.
Deliver insights and recommendations that support strategic and tactical decision-making.
Act as the Cyltrack and Navision system expert, ensuring data integrity and process efficiency.
Support procurement of cylinders, valves, frames, and related assets—tracking capex and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Lead or contribute to cross-functional Lean projects and national sales & operations planning initiatives.
Coordinate the implementation of major customer / channel initiatives (e.g., Bunnings).
Ensure compliance with Coregas' safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Provide analytical support for business cases, investment proposals, and continuous improvement efforts.
Who are you : Brings a strong foundation in business, commerce, or accounting—whether through formal qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience.
Has worked in distribution, inventory management, or procurement, with some exposure to finance being a plus.
Confident navigating ERP systems and highly skilled in Excel, Access, and Power Pivot.
Sees data as more than numbers—able to extract insights and translate them into meaningful business actions.
Communicates clearly and persuasively, tailoring messages to stakeholders at all levels.
Thinks commercially and strategically, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and performance.
Known for being collaborative, customer-focused, and committed to safety and continuous improvement.
