About The Role Hammond Care are currently implementing Workday as their new Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
We are seeking a Workday Systems Manager who will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimisation of the Workday HCM system.
This role acts as a key liaison across Hammond Care to ensure that Workday supports current and future business needs.
The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in Workday, outstanding problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid opportunities based at Sydney or Melbourne.
What We Can Offer You We care about your wellbeing at Hammond Care and as a result offer a wide range of health and lifestyle benefits including: NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefit (up to $2,650 tax free)Additional leave purchase options and 14 weeks paid parental leave Flexible working options, including hybrid arrangements Discounts on everyday products and services Discounted healthcare memberships - access to network of fitness centres and pools for employees and families Free independent, confidential counselling services, wellbeing resources and webinars available through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family Health & Wellbeing programmes Reward & Recognition programmes Referral bonuses Career and professional development opportunities Key Responsibilities Include System Administration: Manage day-to-day operations of the Workday platform, including configuration, business process maintenance, security, and user access Project Management: Lead or support Workday-related projects such as system upgrades, new module implementations, and integrations Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with all stakeholders across Hammond Care to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support operational requirements Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday support and other third-party vendors or consultants Training & Support: Provide training and support to end users and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained Compliance & Security: Ensure data integrity and compliance as applicable Continuous Improvement: Monitor system performance and user feedback to recommend enhancements and best practices Ensure strong governance across Workday system configurations and processes, maintaining compliance with organisational policies and sector standards Leadership of the Team: Lead and mentor the Workday team ensuring high performance and a focus on continuous improvement.
Conduct regular reviews, provide coaching, and drive professional growth within the team.
About You Commitment to engage and align with Hammond Care's Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience)Significant experience in Workday administration and modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent Management, Recruiting, Payroll etc Strong understanding of Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite, etc.) and calculated fields Excellent project management and communication skills Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements A current driver's licence and safe driving record and a willingness to travel between Hammond Care's sites and services when required Outstanding stakeholder relationship skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team To Apply If you are ready to make a difference with Hammond Care, Apply Now For any specific queries please contact talent@hammond.com.au.
