About The Opportunity Are you passionate about shaping the future of medical education? Wagga Wagga Base Hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Specialist – Director Prevocational Education & Training (DPET) to lead and inspire the next generation of medical professionals.
This 0.2 FTE Part-Time Permanent position offers a unique opportunity to oversee and manage the teaching and career development of prevocational medical practitioners within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
As DPET, you will play a pivotal role in developing and coordinating structured education programs, advocating for trainee development, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
You'll collaborate with key stakeholders including Junior Medical Officers, hospital executives, and the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) to ensure high-quality clinical training and strategic alignment with broader educational goals.

About You You are a registered Specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current clinical appointment at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
