If you want to play a key role in the delivery of the next state election and make a positive contribution to democracy, then consider applying for this exciting roleThe Senior Procurement Advisor is responsible for providing advice and support to Electoral Commission SA (ECSA) business units, reviewing and/or managing higher-value, more complex procurements, and supporting strategic procurement within the South Australian Government Procurement Framework and policies.
Reporting to the Manager Finance, key responsibilities include: Providing timely advice and support to branches based on procurement needs.
Reviewing and managing higher-value and complex procurements and contracts.
Providing contract management services for nominated ECSA contracts, monitoring performance against KPIs, and implementing remedial actions as needed.
Developing expertise in market approaches, tendering, contracts, procurement options, and strategies.
Streamlining delegations and procurement approval and reporting processes using a risk-management approach.
Maintaining and communicating up-to-date policy documents, advice, templates, and tips related to procurement.
Knowledge of SA Government procurement policies, ability to develop end-to-end procurement documentation independently, and effective negotiation skills are essential.
Special conditions This role is offered on a temporary basis up to 18 December 2026.

Extended hours may be required during the election period.
Some interstate and intrastate travel may be necessary.
Remuneration ASO6 – $98,478 to $104,165 per annum
