What you'll do :
Reporting to the Agro Manager, the Agro Sales Representative is responsible for developing clientele and growing agricultural business within seed, crop protection, agricultural equipment, and fertilizer lines.
You will drive business growth by establishing new client relationships and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a desire to expand their portfolio, a good understanding of the products, and effective communication skills with diverse clients.
Working collaboratively with the management team and customers, you will uphold Coop's values in every interaction.
You will be responsible for :
Business Development :
Develop and implement sales strategies to enter new markets and expand the customer base.
Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare and present sales proposals aligned with client needs.
Building Partnerships and Client Support :
Visit clients regularly to build relationships and ensure satisfaction.
Collaborate with internal teams for timely delivery of products and services.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Driving Sales :
Close sales while providing excellent customer service.
Meet sales volume, margin, and customer contact targets.
Growth Mindset :
Participate in marketing discussions and apply operational knowledge to assist in product and service procurement.
Who you are :
You have a proactive personality and a positive attitude.
Passionate about agriculture, you enjoy conversations with farmers, selling, and customer service.
You also have:
A valid Class 5 Driver's license and willingness to travel.
Availability on call during days, weekends, evenings, holidays, and long days as required.
Experience in business development, account management, or outside sales (preferred).
Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
Ability to analyze data for sales decisions.
Effective negotiation skills and success in closing deals.
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office; POS/CRM experience is an asset.
High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
