About The Role As a Service Lead, Community, you'll lead a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred services that empower people with disabilities to live inclusive and meaningful lives.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with customers, families, and staff to create a positive and inclusive environment.
What You'll Be Doing and What You'll Bring You'll be responsible for guiding and mentoring your team, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with Aruma's values.
You'll also play a key role in service development, compliance, and continuous improvement.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has experience in disability services (minimum 3 years)Is confident in leading, mentoring, and developing teams Understands person-centred and human rights-based approaches Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships Is organised, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement Can manage service delivery, schedules, and NDIS billing Holds a relevant qualification in Individual Support or a related field Meets regulatory requirements (we'll help guide you)Ensure compliance with NDIS standards, safeguarding practices, and legislative requirements, while fostering a values-driven culture that supports both staff and customers.
