About The Role Our goal is to make paying super effortless for employers, and you can help us lighten the load for employers all over Australia.
As the Lead Full Stack Developer, you'll be the design custodian, ensuring applications are well-engineered, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
You'll lead the development team, set technical standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to bring product visions to life using cutting-edge tools and practices.
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality software quickly and efficiently, while also providing technical leadership and support across testing, deployment, and documentation.
Day To Day, You'll Lead and coach developers to deliver effective software solutions.
Set programming standards and ensuring compliance with security and development methods.
Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performing applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate design concepts into functional code.
Manage deployments, testing, and third-level support for production environments.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of development technologies and advising on their application.
This role is a permanent opportunity.
Location : Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.
About You It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills.
We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them.
It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too : You have a strong understanding of server-side development using Java and the Spring framework, with about 70% of your focus in this area.
You're also proficient in frontend development, working confidently with React, Type Script, CSS, HTML5, and Java Script, which makes up the remaining 30% of your skillset.
You've gained valuable experience building with cloud technologies like Azure and GCP.
You bring strong experience in CI / CD pipelines, and you're familiar with backend build tools, maintenance, and automation.
You're proficient in unit testing and automated testing frameworks, ensuring your code is reliable and robust.
You've got excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and you naturally gravitate toward solving problems with a thoughtful approach.
