Citadines Walker in North Sydney is a 252 room hotel including a restaurant, meeting rooms, business centre, executive lounge and gymnasium.
It is in proximity to key public transportation including a train station and bus station, as well as the new Victoria Cross metro station.
Located in the heart of the city's Central Business District, Citadines Walker North Sydney is at the epicentre of North Sydney's commercial, retail and social scenes, surrounded by bars, restaurants and healthcare services.The role is critical to the success of this hotel.
The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will cover the Housekeeping Manager's days off and will assist with supervision duties on the other days.

Must be available weekends.About You You will have a friendly and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to have positive involvement and interaction with both guests and the overall Hotel team.Requirements:MUST be available to work a rotating rosterMUST have weekend availabilityPossess full Australian working rightsExcellent grooming and presentationTo succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:Passionate and consistent, with excellent attention to detailShow proven effective and positive inter-departmental relationships with previous hotel teams, including General Manager, front office and MaintenanceDemonstrated Leadership skills: lead the team from the front, drive performance and productivityExcellent staff management to drive performance excellence in quality and productivity including training, development, rostering, work allocation and performance improvementStrong Time management skillsAccurate record keeping in relation to room counts/payroll & billing, and proven previous management of daily payroll to ensure compliance with the Hospitality Industry General AwardAbility to maintain the standard operating procedures within the department and in accordance with CLIENTS requirementsExperience in leading workplace safety, adhering to policies of the CLIENT and LUXXE.
