As General Manager, you'll be at the heart of our new opening, playing a key role in the successful launch of our latest restaurant.
This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a team, create an exceptional guest experience, and ensure our standards of excellence are met from day one.
As General Manager at Ottolenghi Richmond, you will oversee all aspects of the restaurant's launch and operations.
From pre-opening planning to managing daily operations once we open, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly and aligns with our company values.
Role & Responsibilities: Lead the pre-opening efforts, including team recruitment, training, and ensuring all operational systems are in place Oversee daily operations from opening day, ensuring exceptional service, food quality, and guest satisfaction Build and lead a diverse and motivated team Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house Drive financial success through careful planning, waste control, and sales growth Collaborate on seasonal menu and campaign launches, ensuring every detail reflects our brand Monitor and improve processes, from table planning to health and safety compliance The ideal candidate: Experience as a General Manager or in a managerial role within in a similar restaurant or hospitality environment Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, especially during the pre-opening phase A passion for exceptional service and creating a welcoming, memorable experience for guests Strong financial acumen with experience in managing budgets, sales targets, and cost control Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills Knowledge of Ottolenghi's ethos, menu, and commitment to quality What's in it for you: The chance to be part of the exciting opening of Ottolenghi's newest location in Richmond The chance to lead one of London's most exciting dining destinations Opportunities for growth within the Ottolenghi group A collaborative and creative environment where your ideas matter A dynamic and supportive team environment Excellent health benefits package Enhanced Maternity, Adoption, Surrogacy or Primary Care Giver Parent Pay and Paternity Pay after 2 years' service A birthday treat Monthly cooking demos and food, wine and cocktail workshops in the Ottolenghi Test Kitchen If you are an experienced General Manager ready for the next step in you career, we'd love to hear from you
