About the opportunity The Talent Attraction Business Partner – Early Careers will play a key role in Australia Post's workforce strategy by leading the planning and execution of Early Careers recruitment campaigns and pathways.
This includes designing and delivering end-to-end recruitment for early career talent, building relationships with external partners and other talent sources and ensuring the pipeline aligns with future capability needs.
The role also involves mentoring interns and graduates, providing expert advice to leaders, and collaborating with the broader P&C and Talent Attraction teams to ensure successful early career initiatives.
While the preferred location for the role is Melbourne, we welcome interest from Sydney based candidates.
What you'll deliver with us In this role, you'll play a key part in building a future-ready workforce for Australia Post, driving the Early Careers strategy and establishing strong partnerships with universities, TAFEs, RTOs and consulting firms to attract top talent.
You'll help position Australia Post as the go-to destination for early career opportunities, leading impactful recruitment campaigns and advising hiring managers on how to get the most out of interns and graduates.
In collaboration with the Diversity, Inclusion & Talent team, you'll contribute to the long-term strategy for a future-focused talent pipeline.
You'll create and develop pathways for specialist talent, ensuring we build the expertise needed to meet our future business needs.
You'll also Build strong external partnerships by establishing and maintaining relationships with key external stakeholders, such as universities, TAFEs, RTOs and consulting firms, to support the Early Careers sourcing strategy.
Promote Early Career Employer Brand by positioning and promoting Australia Post as a top destination for early career talent through activities like career fairs, virtual expos, and webinars.
Provide experienced support and guidance by advising hiring managers on effectively engaging and supporting talent, while ensuring the successful delivery of Early Careers programs and pathways.
Strategic collaboration with the Diversity, Inclusion & Talent team to develop long-term strategies and oversee detailed campaign planning, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving.
About you You are a strategic thinker with a proven ability to create and implement recruitment solutions, strategies, and initiatives from the ground up.
Passionate about building strong external relationships, you are passionate about promoting early career opportunities and driving impactful talent attraction campaigns.
With strong commercial acumen and a collaborative mindset, you partner with stakeholders and shape long-term talent strategies that align with business needs.
As a natural leader, you foster innovation and are dedicated to ensuring a seamless recruitment experience while driving the creation of future workforce pathways.
You'll also need Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant or Business Partner in a TA function, RPO, or recruitment agency, with a focus on developing and implementing early careers and graduate programs.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage relationships and partner with senior leaders and stakeholders across multiple business areas.
Experience planning, launching, and managing complex, fast-paced recruitment programs, with the agility to adjust to changing priorities and business needs in large, complex environments.
Solid understanding of early careers, graduate programs, and volume recruitment trends, as well as the ability to stay informed on market developments and align talent strategies with business direction.
