Civil Drainer

Shamrock Civil Engineering is a reputable mid-tier civil construction contractor with well-established connections in the civil construction and mining industries.

We are currently seeking a Civil Drainer available for an immediate start.
You will be based in Adelaide, reporting directly to the Site Supervisor, with duties including but not limited to:

Studying specifications to determine the layout and materials required.
Designing and maintaining below ground drainage systems such as stormwater or sewerage.
Ensuring work meets the standards required by supervisors and clients.
Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure they are in efficient and safe operating condition.
Being aware of working in close proximity to plant and machinery.
Ensuring the work site is always left in a safe condition, e.g., fences around gully pits, manholes, and trenches.
Using equipment and materials properly.
Attending Toolbox, Safety Meetings, and other relevant meetings.

Applicants must hold a Queensland (C) class driver's license, with 3-5 years of experience in civil construction, and demonstrate:

A sound understanding of the construction industry, including modern techniques.
Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
