Role Overview As a Dev Ops Manager at Nuix, you will lead the development and enhancement of our CI/CD pipelines for Saa S and on-premise solutions, focusing on design, implementation, automation, security, and operational stability across multiple platforms.
You will also mentor engineers and drive automation and security initiatives, spending about 50% of your time actively contributing technically.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & People Development Lead and develop high-performing Dev Ops engineers Foster collaboration, innovation, and growth through mentorship and skill development Share knowledge via communities of practice Provide coaching to future engineering leaders Technical Leadership Promote a Dev Ops culture emphasizing collaboration and continuous delivery Improve software deployability, infrastructure-as-code practices, and automate environment provisioning Enhance operational excellence across environments Support other teams in adopting Dev Ops tools and practices Lead initiatives to optimize Jenkins CI/CD platform, secure AWS networking, integrate security tools, and implement centralized logging (e.g., Sumologic)Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Product Management, Cyber Security, Cloud Ops, and other teams to align development with business goals Drive consistency and efficiency across regions Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Expertise in Dev Ops, automation, CI/CD, and cloud platforms, especially AWSExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, and scripting languages (Java, Python, Groovy, Bash, Power Shell)Proven leadership in Agile environments with delivery focus Strong communication skills and a proactive troubleshooting approach Required qualifications include a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a track record of managing complex infrastructure and automation projects in fast-paced environments.
