Our proven project teams readily address complex and multi-disciplinary activities, providing low-risk and cost-effective solutions to the defence force.Learn more about our business - The Opportunity:KBR is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to support a confidential Defence project.This is a full-time fixed term position for four (4) months, based in Canberra.
Interstate applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.This position will require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance on commencement and the successful candidate must be willing to upgrade to an NV2.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage commercial strategies to support the tendering process.Prepare and review RFT documentation to ensure compliance with Defence procurement requirements.Evaluate commercial aspects of bid responses, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial objectives.Provide expert commercial advice to the project team and stakeholders.Ensure all commercial and contractual risks are effectively managed.Required Qualifications, Experience and KnowledgeExperience in commercial management, contract negotiation, and procurement within a Defence setting.Strong knowledge of ASDEFCON, Defence procurement frameworks and RFT processesAbility to review, interpret, and assess commercial and financial aspects of tender responses.Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.An active NV1 security clearance (essential).If you're ready to shape tomorrow, let's get started.
