Role details The Digital Health Solutions at Mackay Base Hospital are seeking applications for a Nurse Manager, Digital Clinical Service Lead to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity The Digital Health Clinical Services Lead / Nurse Unit Manager is a registered nurse who: Is appointed to an advanced practice nursing position; and Demonstrates specialised clinical expertise and/or a specialised skill set.
Classification May Include But Is Not Limited To Responsibility for explicit professional portfolio content and expertise.
Expertise in direct care provision, support of systems, education, and professional leadership.
Consultation and professional advice.
Responsibility for a cohort of staff reporting to the position, including education and research advice.
About The Team The Digital Health Solutions team supports the statewide Integrated Electronic Medical Record (ie MR) solution and offers opportunities in training delivery, system adoption, change management, and process redesign across Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
The ie MR functionalities include Medication Management, Anaesthetics, Surgi Net, First Net, Care Delivery, Renal, and Powerchart Maternity solutions, along with device integration for ECG and CTG.
The team also supports other digital programs and devices including Vocera, Dragon Medical One (DMO), and Patient Flow Manager.

The district spans approximately 90,000 km2 and provides services to patients and families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine, and Sarina.
