Our client is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to support their ANZ business operations.
This is a unique opportunity for a commercial lawyer with 3-5 years PQE to join a dynamic legal team in a pivotal role.
Why is this a great role? As a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing commercially focused legal advice across a wide range of areas, including contract law, compliance, intellectual property, employment law, and corporate governance (plus much more).
This role will offer exposure to significant legal matters in the energy solutions sector, where you will advise internal stakeholders and help navigate the complex legal landscape of projects.
You will have the opportunity to work with an experienced legal team, advising on major transactions, mitigating legal risks, and helping drive business strategy.
The company offers a collaborative work culture and a flexible working environment, with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.
You'll be part of an organisation dedicated to innovation and sustainability, with opportunities for career growth and development.
What type of person will be successful? Admitted as a lawyer in Australia.
3-5 years PQE in commercial law, with a strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
Experience in energy, utilities, or renewables is highly desirable but not essential.
Strong commercial and legal drafting skills, particularly in relation to complex agreements and risk management.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a focus on achieving commercial outcomes.
