Western Health seeks an experienced PSA supervisor to join our Mental & Custodial Health PSA team as the Mental & Custodial Health Supervisor.
The PSA Supervisor is a key member of the Western Health ESD team, contributing to OHS and Infection Control, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Essential qualifications and skills Certificate 3 in Health Services Assistance Minimum 12 months experience in a PSA or similar role Strong customer service skills dealing with staff, patients, and visitors Professional manner, initiative, and work ethic Ability to make sound decisions under pressure Effective communication skills Willingness to work under clinical staff and management Leadership ability in a multidisciplinary environment Self-directed work style and workload prioritization Basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills (Outlook, Word)Desirable skills Physical fitness Leadership experience in healthcare About Western Health Western Health is a large healthcare provider in Victoria, serving a diverse community of over one million people with over 13,000 staff, delivering extensive care services across hospitals, community, and residential facilities.
